Flame of Hope
The Flame of Hope is a work of art by sculptor Leonardo Nierman: a nine and a half foot tall twist of bronze that wears a patina of burnished gold. It stands at the entrance to the Eleanor Roosevelt Institute as a reminder of our goal to end human affliction. Your Gift in Celebration and Remembrance will support basic biomedical research being conducted on such diseases as cancer, Down syndrome, Alzheimer's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS), Recombinant(8) syndrome and heart disease. Each time you send a gift, the person or family you designate will receive a special card in acknowledgment of your generosity and remembrance. The amount is never disclosed. You will receive a receipt for purposes of tax deductibility. Your gift is a tax deductible contribution to support basic biomedical research. You may direct your gift to a specific area of research, by including a note with your gift. Unless restricted by your wishes, your gift will go to where it can best aid the mission of the Institute. If you have any questions, please contact the Development Office March 14, 2008 |
